The Internet of Things, also known as the Internet of Everything, is becoming  an increasingly growing topic of conversation. A concept that not only impacts how we live in future but also how we work. But what does it exactly mean and what kind of impact will it have on us? 

The Internet of Things – an explanation

Simply put, the Internet of Things is connection any device with an ‚on and off switch‘ to the internet. It includes everything: Cellphones, washing machines, heating, electricity, lamps, wearable devices and almost everything else you can think of. The list of things could be endless.

There will be three forms of ‚relationship‘: people-people, people-things, and things-things.

It will provide a better understanding of what the term includes and how it will impact our social  life. According to the data, shown in the infographic below, 13 billion home appliance, 3.5 billion navigation systems, 411 billion wearables and 646 billion health devices will be connected to the Internet.
